Now I tried setting it to option 2 in group policy (notify me of updates) and when I go to windows update it still says "available updates will be downloaded and installed automatically" Meanwhile, Windows is downloading updates for parts of Office 2016 like Outlook and Powerpoint that I haven't even installed. I've set the group policy to option 5, but there's no "change settings" menu or anything else that would let me adjust update options. I have "advanced options" but that doesn't look anything like his "change settings." I followed method 1 from there (group policy), but the problem is that if you look at the first screenshot in that link, it shows the windows update->change settings menu, but I don't have "change settings" in windows update.
